I have been using the oral appliance nightly for almost 3 months and am very pleased with the results. I chose the oral appliance with a computer chip embed and love the fact that every morning I know exactly my sleep statistics for that night. Dr V and his office staff are fantastic, very thorough, and answer all questions in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. Anyone who suspects that they might have a sleep apnea problem, this is the office you want to go to, for informed honest answers!

Really appreciate the personal service from Dr. Vandervelden and Carmen. The explanation of the process and how oral devices work for OSA is thorough. Too bad that insurance doesn’t see it. Still, dollar cost averaging over the life of the device you are breaking even with what you would pay in cpap rental, supplies and specialty visits and testing and Dr Vandervelden has you test at home. The appliance works great, really helps me to sleep well. The appliance fits well and is comfortable to wear at night. The process of mapping your teeth using the digital scanner is quick and easy. I recommend CPAP Alternatives if you snore or grind teeth at night.

I am grateful for this alternative to sleep apnea. Dr. Vandervelden has developed excellent skills and expertise in fabricating an appliance and testing its efficacy in a nonintrusive way to relieve sleep apnea. Dr. Vandervelden and his colleague, Carmen explain the process well and help with each stage of the process. I would recommend CPAP alternatives, Dr. Vandervelden and his associate, Carmen to anyone it might help.
