got all 4 wisdom teeth out under IV sedation today and I am super happy with how everything went. I have never had surgery of any kind before and Dr. Kaplan + team made the experience super simple so I felt like I was in good hands the entire time. I appreciated her lightness and sense of humor, it helped me enormously as I was super tense and nervous the entire time leading up to the procedure. I am 37 year old me with PTSD and anxiety issues. I had never had a surgical procedure before getting my wisdom teeth out with Dr. Kaplan and I was very nervous to be put under for it. Her and Mrs. Shera were incredibly nice and patient with me considering my anxiety and the procedure was literally nothing at all. I went to sleep and next thing I know I am home resting up. I cannot sing Dr. Kaplan's praises enough!!! I initially (unfortunately) went to a different oral surgery practice and oral surgeon at first for a tooth extraction, and that surgeon was unable to remove my tooth and was incredibly rude to me, kicking me out of his office and yelling at me because I felt pain. It caused me so much trauma and fear, as he said I'd need to undergo anesthesia to remove the tooth. With a complicated medical history, this made me very uncomfortable. I cannot express how wonderful Dr Kaplan and her office staff are! I was very concerned about an upcoming procedure, Dr Kaplan, was incredibility professional and kind. My experience from start to finish was outstanding.
My experience with Commonwealth Oral & Facial was positive from start to finish. Dr Lauren Kaplan did an excellent job removing my molar. The procedure went as smoothly as I could hope for and my recovery has been excellent with very little discomfort.
