My experience with Dr. Nagel was nothing short of excellent. I had two very large Torri on the bottom of my mouth that needed out. I was beyond scared of this surgery for 30 years. After going through this with Dr. Nagel I was scared for no reason. He was comforting, and communicated very well through it all. His staff in both Dubuque and Platteville were just as good. I will be referring him always.
I was treated like royalty. I informed the front desk that I'd overused my Dental Insurance and would need to use a credit card. They were very kind and accommodating with this and when I looked a bit chilly I was given a small warm blanket. The Doctor was efficient in examining the 3 D x ray they had required for accuracy. My experience with Great River Oral was nothing short of amazing. The staff did an excellent job making sure I knew about all of the steps and procedures that were taking place. Everything went unbelievable smoothly and was in and out before I knew it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from a dental professional from start to finish. I was really impressed by their team today.
Absolutely horrible. It took 3 weeks just to schedule an appointment. Staff lied to me on 2 different occasions and the day prior to surgery changed everything they'd been telling me for 6 weeks. Day of surgery they weren't aware as to what I was allergic to or what wisdom teeth they were pulling. Day 5 after surgery still extreme pain. Called telling them I'm out of town with enough pain to kill a horse. They told me to either go see another oral surgeon or just give it time. Doctor Pingel, nurses, and staff were great!! I was put under for extraction and home within 1 1/2!! Great group of staff very polite, helpful, & wonderful bedside manner!! Highly recommend!! They treat you very well there!
