Receptionist was unwelcoming. We called from Illinois and asked if they took my insurance and they said yes and I also asked if it would be ok because I’m from Illinois and they said no problem. On the hour long drive there we check in and they ask for insurance and we give it to them and they say that it can’t work because I have Illinois insurance. I was very upset because of the tooth extraction pain and we drove all this way. They told us to sit down in the reception for some reason then just came back and starred at us.... read more
I am taking my daughter there for wisdom teeth removal, and today was her consultation. They were very professional, and we were seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The costs were explained up-front, and everything was transparent. My questions were answered clearly, and the staff were all very friendly.
Very positive experience. Never look forward to getting teeth pulled, but Great River Oral Surgery is best surgery center I have been to.
We had a consult for my young daughter in the Clinton office, and had her main appt. in Dubuque. All of the people we had encountered were nothing short of amazing. My daughters nurse Adeline was extraordinary! She was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make sure she was comfortable & laughing- we were so lucky to have had her at the Clinton & Dubuque office! Dr. Nagel was just as wonderful. He answered all of our questions thoroughly, and thoughtfully. We won’t hesitate to come back here. Thank you for everything!
Friendly, knowledgeable oral surgeon & staff. Explained each step of the process. Called the day after extraction to make sure I was doing OK & to reiterate post op instructions.
