Great surgeon and very friendly staff. The practice wants you to pay when you walk in the door. I prefer to pay after services to be sure they do what was planned.
The tooth extraction went well and healing was not an issue. However, the aftermath of large doses of pain medication ultimately landed me in the emergency room at Henrico Doctors' nine days after extraction. It would be advisable to include a warning in the directions for taking such large doses of pain medication that GI issues may occur especially in elderly patients. It should be written in red ink! I was petrified but he has the absolute best personality and great communication, really put me at ease, I had absolutely no pain before or after. He and his nurses gave me excellent care information so no troubles with healing. The office staff are so friendly and helpful- just an amazing experience during the entire process.
Dr Miller is an excellent oral surgeon with many years of experience. My daughter received wonderful care. Staff was polite and efficient. Waiting time was minimal.

My experience with Dr. Miller was perfect. He was quick to schedule an appointment to see me even though at that time he got back from knee surgery (from what the front office ladies said). The nurses were caring and looked through my issue every step of the way. On the day of the surgery, he made sure to make me comfortable in every way. I've seen Dr. Miller several times and he is the only Oral Surgeon that I trust completely. I have several health issues and I feel safe because I know Dr. Miller will take good care of me and do what is best. If I need Oral surgery he is the one I always go to. He is the best in town.
I have been to Commonwealth oral and facial surgery for years and Dr. Michael Miller. My three (now adult) children all had their wisdom teeth out and I have had three dental implants. The office staff is wonderful and tries very hard to work with your needs. They are very organized and willing to answer any questions you might have. Great MD explained the procedure and was through and outcome was good. Only complaint was that the scheduler led me to believe I would have the extraction on the initial visit. This turned out to be a consultation with pre-procedure meds given.
