Have had mixed feelings about a CPAP machine, and then a friend turned me onto his using an oral device, and the office of Dr. Farmer. A terrific experience, form initial consultation to getting exact measurements for my device, to explaining my options (FYI, even though Dr Farmer does not have Apnea, he has tried all of them himself) The followup has been terrific, several video consultations, as well as an additional sleep study.; Top notch service. Dr. Farmer did an excellent job treating my sleep apnea with an oral appliance. Every step of the way he clearly explained what he was doing, which I didn't realize was something providers do and now I always want it. The process concluded after titration with different tensions on the appliance and an at-home pulse oximeter data collection phase to find the most comfortable fit that still gave good results. I've been using it nightly for a couple of months now, which I never could have imagined doing with a previous CPAP.

I feel fortunate to have encountered Dr. Farmer as I was looking for solutions to treat sleep apnea. He’s a really good communicator who keeps his patients involved in their own care, and his detail oriented approach is very informative and calming. Dr. Farmer is a great resource for those struggling with sleep issues. Not only are they knowledgeable about orthodontic appliances, they also give fantastic suggestions of other solutions based on a holistic overview of your symptoms.
